Vasse Felix Sauvignon Blanc, made with fruit selected from estate vineyards at Wallcliffe, Karridale and Carbunup, is a modern Margaret River Sauvignon Blanc.

The winemaking is tailored to produce a more powerful, complex style of wine. A portion of the fruit ferments on full skins. The rest is air bag pressed and fermented in barrels and stainless steel tanks. Primarily wild yeasts are used.

The wine is then left to develop in mostly seasoned large format French oak. After around one year, the wine is blended and aged further in tank prior to bottling.

Golden straw, Vasse Felix Sauvignon Blanc is medium bodied with broad fruit flavours, savoury complexity and powdery tannins. Cellaring potential is five years.
